1847 Holdings LLC acquired Generational Equity client Neese Inc. on March 3, 2017. Details were not disclosed.

Neese, based in Grand Junction, Iowa, provides a wide variety of products and services to the agriculture, construction, and lawn and garden industries. A sampling of products include tractors; grain augers and handling equipment; liquid manure spreaders, agitators, and pumps; manure hauling equipment; crop shredders and grain baggers. The company also offers cleaning of all types of bulk storage bins and silos.

1847 Holdings, based in New York City, is a publicly traded partnership quoted on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board. The company seeks to combine the most attractive attributes of owning private, lower-middle market businesses with the liquidity and transparency of a publicly traded company.

Generational Equity Managing Director Michael Goss’s team, led by trusted affiliates Todd McGreevy and Chris Barnard, with support from Generational Equity Vice President Luan Ly, led the deal to a successful close.

“The Neese family has built a very strong brand and presence in their local market, and their customers depend on them heavily,” said Goss. “1847 Holdings brings additional resources and expertise to help the Neeses take the business to the next level and provide a broader depth of services to existing and new customers alike.”
