The transaction closed on May 31, 2011, and was led by Managing Director, Terry Mackin and Assistant Vice President, Kyle Coe from the firm’s Dallas, Texas headquarters. J-W Payne was founded in 1974 in New Boston, Texas near the Texas-Arkansas border.
Since its inception, JWP, a family owned business, has established a reputation of excellence in the concrete highway and bridge construction industry while acting as general contractors as well as subcontractors. Fred Weber specializes in heavy and highway construction projects, materials supply, and full-service concrete and asphaltpaving projects. “Identifying and negotiating with multiple buyers that have a strategic reason to acquire our clients is where the Generational Equity team can really add value to a transaction,” said Generational Equity President Ryan Binkley. “This transaction is another example of a successful marketing and negotiation process by our professionals resulting in a lucrative transaction for both buyer and seller.”
