We are pleased to share the sale of our client, Seminole Septic, Inc., to Wind River Environmental, LLC. The acquisition closed December 7, 2020 and details were not disclosed.

Seminole Septic, located in Seminole, Florida, and founded in 1985, specializes in the pumping and disposal of septic tanks and grease traps, and provides emergency service regarding sanitary sewer overflow. The Company also offers a wide variety of services, including jet-pressure cleaning, hi-pressure vacuum trucks, and televising equipment.  

Located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Wind River Environmental services and maintains a broad array of non-hazardous liquid waste systems, including grease traps, septic tanks and related waste systems. Wind River Environmental offers a full suite of services to residential, business and municipal customers.

Wind River Environmental owns and operates 16 treatment facilities processing more than 185 million gallons per year, and they service more than 100,000 business and residential customers annually.

Their goal is to be the premier grease, septic, and drain service provider in America. To help reach that goal, Wind River Environmental has acquired 90 companies since its inception and has more state-certified systems inspectors than any company in the industry.   

Generational Equity Executive Managing Director, M&A-Technology Practice Leader, David Fergusson, and his team led by Senior M&A Advisor, Barry DeWitt, with the support of Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions, Alex Mironov, successfully closed the deal. Executive Managing Director Tom Braun established the initial relationship with Seminole Septic.

“Seminole was a great strategic and geographic fit for Wind River Environmental’s continued expansion into the growing Florida market,” said DeWitt.

“Chuck and Elaine Watson can now retire knowing their customers and employees will be in good hands and are pleased their son Todd will continue to manage the local operation on the Wind River Environmental team moving forward.”
