We are pleased to share the sale of our client, CLS Technology, Inc., to ADT Commercial. The acquisition closed December 2, 2020 and details were not disclosed.
CLS Technology, located in Katy, Texas, has served the metropolitan Houston area and surrounding communities for 15 years.
Located 30 miles west of Houston, CLS Technology’s team specializes in installing, inspecting and maintaining fire alarm, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, emergency notification systems, and intercom and sound reinforcement systems across a variety of commercial environments.
Until recently, ADT, located in Boca Raton, Florida, focused almost entirely on residential security. Over the past several years, ADT has worked strategically to return to the commercial integration business with a goal to become a national accounts leader.
That effort has been supercharged by a succession of strategic acquisitions, including a number of leading regional integrators who have joined the fold in the past two-and-a-half years, bringing decades of experience to commercial and national account customers.
ADT Commercial said the purchase of CLS Technology, which is the organization’s 24th acquisition, would deepen its capabilities to serve mid-market, national and large-scale commercial customers in the Houston, Texas area.

Generational Capital Markets Managing Director Mergers & Acquisitions, Chris Heckert, with support from Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions, Andre Farahmandi, successfully closed the deal. Senior Managing Director David Pickard established the initial relationship with CLS Technology.
